The micro flow meter can measure extremely low flow rates for liquid applications. It is far less costly than other positive displacement flow meters, fluid meters and liquid measuring instruments capable of measuring low flow rates.
It is less susceptible to wear and more capable of being utilized for hostile liquids. It can easily be disassembled, cleaned and reassembled with reasonable care in the field.
Our Micro Flow meters shown below on our test rig performing above and beyond expectations. The flow rate indicators are totalizing in mL. As you can see the flow rate is roughly 0.38 Hz, with 0.833Hz equaling 1 cc/min at the k=factor of 50 pulses per cc. In other words these meters can perform well under 1 ml/minute. Stated flow rate on this FMTD4 model is 1 to 250 cc/min.
