In very low flow applications, two Micro Flowmeters may be required to attain the desired accuracy or repeatability. This is especially true when the liquid to be measured is low in lubricity. In such cases, an installation such as depicted in the drawing below is recommended. If, for example, it is required to flow distilled water at 2 ccpm, the system may be set to pump at 25 ccpm through Micro Flowmeter 1, and the Control Valve adjusted so as to cause 23 ccpm through Micro Flowmeter 2 which returns this amount to the Liquid Sump.
